Taste of Cambodia is a private tuk tuk tour to try a variety of modern Cambodian dishes. Experience an eclectic mix of contemporary tastes in informal settings to get a true sense of the culinary world in today's Cambodia. Taste of Cambodia will take you to:
Pou Restaurant and Bar Chef Mengly of Pou's is one of the rising stars of the Cambodian culinary world. Take traditional countryside cooking and add a sprinkling of Mengly's creative flair and you have a menu of the tastiest treats that is unlike anything else currently being dished up in Siem Reap. This low-key restaurant impresses with the creativeness of flavours that Mengly puts together.
Bugs Cafe Dive into the night market where you will find Cambodia's first insect tapas restaurant. Spiders, ants, silkworms...they are all popular local delicacies and insects have been called the food of the future thanks to their nutritional content and sustainability. Bugs Cafe is the perfect introduction to this unusual food source as they are cooked in a fusion of French and Khmer cuisine....go on, try it!
Mahob Escape the craziness of the night market as your tuk tuk driver whisks you away to tranquil Mahob, where a beautifully restored wooden house sits amongst a pretty tropical garden.
